Why I Made This Deck
I've been doing tarot for a few years now. What started as dabbling with friends turned into reading for strangers at networking events and bars, often for many hours straight. Most people left with something to think about. A few left with happy tears, saying, "I needed to hear this."But the more I used traditional tarot, the more I found myself explaining away the stranger cards. And when I tried to learn reversals, there was no consistent logic. I wanted a deck that I could read in more practical terms, so I made one.Seeds & Sovereigns is a 56-card oracle deck built on a simple idea: every card should make someone think, "Oh, I've been there" or "Yeah, I know someone like that." Instead of upright versus reversed, each card carries a situation and a question. A money windfall asks how you'll use it. A card about grit asks how long you'll fight. A card about partnership asks whether you want the person or just the feeling.This deck is shaped by everything we've learned since 1909: psychology, emotional maturity, attachment styles, moral gray areas.My hope is that it feels immediately approachable and opens the world of tarot to even more people.
